TODA Files
TODA files are powered by a new distributed data graph architecture. They secure any type of data with a cryptographic software data structure called a TODA file to create a unique, portable digital bearer asset.
TODA files are digital things that have the qualities of physical things:
Cargo. Transferability. Permanence. Agency. Possession.
TODA provides the digital equivalent of a piece of paper. Micropayment files are TODA files that hold their own unique, fractionable, quantitative value
Integrity Networks
Integrity Networks ensure TODA file asset and transaction integrity is separated from how the TODA file asset state is managed including how they are stored, processed or transmitted.
The TODA Integrity Network for micropayments is depicted below and has four zones of how the distributed graph architecture is operated from top to bottom: AIPs, Relays, Software systems, TODA file assets.
Every time a TODA file is updated, fractionated or transferred, a few hashes are sent up through the relays to the AIP of that TODA file and then the proof chain is included inside the cryptographic structure of the now updated TODA file, which completes in milliseconds.
While they are part of the integrity chain, the AIP and Relay layers know nothing about the TODA file operations underneath.
Asset Integrity Provider (AIP)
Every TODA file has an AIP it will bind into. AIPs are configured as a high availability, robust service. Click here for a visual example of an operating AIP.
Relays and Trusted Relays
Relays take and combine hashes from the lower layers of the TODA distributed graph and tether to the AIP. Trusted Relays are used inside offline zones to ensure integrity until the AIP can be reached. Relays are lightweight and can run on a mobile or satellite phone,
Software systems
Any software system can be configured to create, update and perform operations on TODA files, including the micropayment solution.
TODA file assets
TODA file assets are controlled by TODA enabled software systems and are platform and transaction channel agnostic. The bearer or owner has control over where they are stored, processed and transacted.
